I didn’t need the Alarm to wake me up, as I was up a little earlier than I had planned probably because I was anxious to make sure everything went how it was suppose to go today. I woke the fiancé up before the alarm went off. She immediately had to use the restroom and now that she had mentioned it, I did too. Again, we hopped on the shuttle, then the train and arrived to our terminal where we experienced some frustration the day before. Ironically, we walked pass the new sista’ I mentioned earlier, but she didn’t recognize us. Another sista’ did though, she acknowledged us with a smile and a “y’all good today right?” Comment. We all just laughed and felt that sense of belonging from a stranger of the same ethnicity (similar to how uncle Barack shook up Kevin Durant a while back).

Yes, we were good finally. We went through security in a timely fashion and even had time to sit down at Wolfgang pucks and enjoy a light breakfast before boarding. The foreign money exchange was close, so we decided to exchange some of our currency, too. It was finally here, the 22 hour flight ahead.
