We landed in Bangkok at about 9:30pm. Since we missed our first flight, we no longer had the accommodations that were set in place. That meant Uber was on deck. The Uber ride was about 45 minutes from the airport to our hotel which, only cost about 11 US dollars and 3.75 Baht. Not bad at all. When we arrived, it reminded me of Bourbon street in New Orleans. The street was lit. Full of of people from all over the world.
The bar next to our hotel was playing “Coco” by O.T. Genasis while everyone partied in the street. I knew right then that we were in the center of all the action. Chanel and I gave each other that look like, “I think we picked the right place!” We checked into our room and quickly changed out of our airplane attire then hit the street. The food trucks were the first move.

After smashing a gyro, I went and grabbed a beer called Chang. It was decent, nothing too exciting. Walking around eventually lead us back to our hotel. I decided to call it a night while she pulled an all nighter for some reason. Next up, first day out.
